Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone.  What a fun Christmas this year!  Maddie opened many presents and was very excited.  She loved her new Elmo Live, Jack in the Box, wagon, and many more.  She also got a child size grand piano.  Here's a little video recap of our past couple of days.  Merry Christmas from the Waters' family.

Meeting Santa

Ok so I had been extremely scared to take Maddie to meet Santa.  I thought for sure she would be one of those hysterical kids that you hear screaming from the other end of the mall.  She was so good.  She was extremely captivated by the candy cane that was given to her before being handed off to Santa.  After a minute or so she smiled so big.  I am so excited that I captured the moment.  The picture that they took was even better and did not have Kris' hands in it!  I tried to video at the same time too with the other hand, however I have not watched it yet.

Before going to meet Santa...we took some pictures of Maddie in one of her Christmas dresses.  She looked so beautiful.  Our little baby is turning into a little girl!

Maddie has not been very good with the Christmas tree. She really enjoys taking the ornaments OFF the tree and the hooks remain on the tree (and they are green so I can't seem to find them!)  The only way that I could get her to stay for some pictures was to let her hold the ornament that she took off the tree when we sat her there.  The ornament in her hands use to belong to my mom.  She recently gave it to me because as a kid it was my favorite.  It is a disc ball.  I just thought that it was so beautiful.  It would reflect all of the beautiful lights from the tree in the mirrors.  I thought it was so cute the way that Mads went for that ornament.  

Now she took the bow off the tree too!

Go Falcons!!!!

This past Sunday we got ready to watch the Falcons play the Bucaneers and of course had to take some pics of Maddie in her Falcon's outfit.  She just looked so cute.  Right before the game she had a meltdown...so we put her down for a nap.  So needless to say she missed most of the game but sure looked cute "tailgating."

First Haircut

Today Tommy and Belle got their first professional hair cuts and baths.  They look like a cross between a poodle and a rat!  Belle has been hissing at Tommy all day.  We think it's because she does not recognize him.  

Today we went to the Orthopedic doctor to follow up on Maddie's hip dysplasia.  Her hips have healed "beautifully."  She does not have to go back until she's four.

All I Want for Christmas........

Maddie is now 16 months old.  And yes...she finally got some teeth!!!  Thank goodness.  I don't think I could of afforded baby dentures.  She got 3 at one time so needless to say...it was not fun times.  She was in a lot of pain.  Once we started a Tylenol/Ibuprofen rotation, she was a much happier child.  She is about to get 2 more soon.  We are so proud of our little girl!

Thanksgiving

Here is a video from our couple of days at Nanny and Poppy's.

We went to Nanny and Poppy's house for Thanksgiving.  Maddie had a great time playing with everyone.  We are so thankful for our Maddie.  She brightens our hearts with each and every smile.  She is truly the heart and soul of our family.  I am so thankful that God has made me a mother and a wife.  I would not change this opportunity for anything.  I am so very thankful for all of our family and friends.
