Precious Baby- - -I Mean Little Girl!!!

Hard to believe that our little girl will be 2 years old next Tuesday!  What an amazing 2 years this has been.  She is the light of lives.  We are currently working on potty training, which is much harder than we anticipated.  Maybe by the time she's 16 she will be out of diapers!  She is learning new things daily.  She now has the cutest "frown" face.  As soon as I get a picture of it, I will post it.  Today her big girl bed arrived for her new bedroom.  She was so excited.  Hopefully she will be sleeping in it soon!

Family Visits

Last week, Klint, Evelin, and Gage came to visit.  We had a great time.  On Monday night, Karl, Edie and family, and Nadine came over for dinner.  On Tuesday, we all went to the aquarium.  It was Maddie's first time there and she loved it.  It was so great to see Mason, Karli, and Maddie having such a wonderful time watching and exploring all the fish.  

Weekend at the Lake

The weekend of July 11, we all went to Lake Oconee to visit Nanny and Poppy.  We had a fun relaxing weekend.  We swam, fished and enjoyed family.  Maddie loved holding the crickets that we used for bait.  Funny because I won't even bait my own pole....Kris does it for me.  I know...I am a total girl.

Lucy, Allison, and Wes came over today to go swimming.  Afterwards, Maddie and Lucy enjoyed some watermelon!

It's A Girl! -June 28, 2009

It's a girl!  We are so thrilled to be giving Maddie a baby sister.  I hope that one day they will be best friends!

Maddie was walking around in Daddy's crocs.  They are too big on him, so you could just imagine how big they are on Maddie!

Bibs, Bibs, and More Bibs

In Maddie's drawer in the kitchen, we keep all of her bibs.  Needless to say...she enjoys seeing how many she can get around her neck.  She had 10 on when I found her!

Savannah Fun- May 16, 2009

Grammie and Grampie took us all to Sesame Street Live back in May.  Maddie LOVED it!  When Elmo came out on stage, she opened her mouth really wide and she started shaking!  She was absolutely thrilled.
