Tonight we gave Maddie her first applesauce. I sure wish I know what was going through her sweet little mind. I think it was something like "what in the world is this weird stuff." She did not understand the concept of a spoon. At first she thought it was a little strange, but by the end she got the hang of it. By the end, I think she had more on her face than what actually went into her mouth.

Maddie's First Thanksgiving
Last week we celebrated Maddie's first Thanksgiving. Kris & I are so thankful for eveything that the good Lord has given us, especially "Miss Maddie K". We drove to Eatonton on Wednesday night to stay at Toni & Rowdy's (Nanny & Poppy's). Maddie met her Uncle Klint, Aunt Evelyn, & cousins Danny & Gage for the first time. Maddie would not sleep in the pack n' play that they had so...she slept on top of me. The next day we ate & ate & ate. After eating at Nanny & Poppy's we headed to Maddie's next set of grandparents, Ganpapa & Mimi (Tom & Diane). We went to Rick & Randy's house & ate a great grilled turkey. Ma was also there for the festivities. Needless to say...I should have worn my maternity pants that day because I thought that I was going to explode! Maddie had a total of 4 naps. She was tired with all of our traveling.

Maddie: 3 Months
Maddie is now 3 months old. Her last weigh in was 10 lbs., 9 oz (however that was 3 weeks ago!) At first she looked a lot like me, but now she is starting to look more and more like Kris. She began going to her babysitter 2 weeks ago. She seems to really enjoy her babysitter, Tasha and the other babies. She is smiling all of the time now. She is getting even more precious daily. She can sit up in her Bumbo chair. She now loves taking baths in her "spa." For Halloween, she was a lady bug. She looked pretty cute. She loves watching Baby Einstein. She sits there in absolute amazement. She now has to wear her brace only at night. My child has legs again!!! She even seems so much smaller to us without her brace. We love her so.
