February Fun

Kris and I wanted to do something special with just Maddie so we took her to the circus.  She had so much fun.  She loved the elephants, zebras, tigers, acrobats, and dogs.  She did not want to try the cotton candy that we got her.  Finally I just shoved a bite into her mouth and she LOVED it.  Kris and I enjoyed the circus, probably more than Maddie did.  It was absolutely amazing.  The acrobats were incredible.  We both sat there mesmerized.  And believe it or not, there were protestors outside as we were leaving.  I just could not believe it.  Come on people... it's the circus.  Get a life!

My mom took these pictures while I was at work.  Poor Maddie.    A couple of weeks prior, we had been at Mimi and Papa's house again with Maddie's cousin, Charlotte.  Charlotte took Maddie's hand and took her into the bathroom and shut the door.  I guess Charlotte gave her the 411 on potty training.  Every since then... Maddie has been using the potty.  Maddie realized that going to the potty would give her TONS of attention.    So Maddie is now potty trained (except at night)!  Thanks Charlotte!!!  In the picture below, Maddie is reading on the potty.  I wonder where she got that from (Daddy)!!!

Reese only cries when she has a poopy diaper, hungry, or has gas!  She's such a good baby.

Reese started smiling all the time.  She is such a sweet baby!  Maddie loves her baby sister so much.  Reese stays with Kris during the day while I am at work.  She is so easy going (unlike Maddie).

Snow 2010

We got a light dusting of snow yesterday!  This was the first time that Maddie got to play in snow.  She was so excited about building a "no man".  We made one that was about two inches high.  It was so cold but that did not stop Maddie.  She wanted to stay out and play all night.  The snow has not melted yet so we will be going out again shortly!

Maddie would make a snow ball and throw it at me and say, "Yeah Maddie"

Poor Maddie!  There was not a lot of snow so Maddie had to collect it from the bushes!
