Baby Reese- November 30, 2009

Baby Reese is here!  She arrived on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 5:14 pm.  She weighed 7 lbs.  5 ounces and was 20 inches long.  For those of you not on Facebook...here is a recap.  We went into the hospital the night before to be induced.  They started the Cervidil at around 8 pm and took it out at 4 am.  It really did not do much.  They started the Pitocin at 4 am and things really started progressing at around 2 pm.  At that point everything happened so quickly.  Reese was very nice to Mama and arrived after only 3 pushes!  Our first thought was that she looked just like Maddie.  Maddie arrived to meet her little sister later that evening.  She was so excited and wanted to give her millions of kisses.

Thanksgiving at Mimi and Papa"s

We celebrated our 2nd Thanksgiving on Friday at Mimi and Papa's house.  I was going to the hospital on Sunday evening so this was our last family get together before the arrival of baby Reese.  Maddie had a great time playing with Charlotte.  

OMG!  I can't believe I even posted this pic!  I was on modified bed rest due to increased blood pressure, swelling, and headaches.  I was so swollen all over.  I could barely get my feet into my crocs.  After I had Reese, I had lost over 40 lbs. of baby and swelling.

Aunt Betty Jean's 70th Birthday Party

This past Sunday night we went to Elevations Chophouse in Kennesaw to celebrate Aunt Betty Jean's 70th birthday.  We had a great time seeing Kris' Dad side of the family.  Maddie had a blast as always!
